The money side, in plain English
Payline Atlas is free to read because casino operators pay us commission when readers join through our links. This page explains that arrangement fully, because a disclosure you have to hunt for is not much of a disclosure.
Which links earn us money
The "Visit" buttons on the homepage showcase and the comparison table are affiliate links. Each carries a tracking reference so the operator knows the visit came from us; if you open an account and play, the operator may pay us a fee — either a share of its revenue from your play, a one-off amount per new customer, or a mix. This costs you nothing and changes nothing about the terms you receive.
Ordinary editorial links — to the Gambling Commission, GAMSTOP, GamCare, GambleAware, or between our own pages — earn nothing and never will.
What commission does not buy
- A verdict. Reviews are finished before commercial conversations happen. A higher rate has never moved an operator up this site, and the day it does, the site has failed at its one job.
- A listing. We choose which operators to compare on editorial grounds. Some operators we list have no commercial relationship with us at all; they stay listed because the comparison would be poorer without them.
- Silence. Where an operator ranks last on a criterion, the table says so, commission or not.
What we are not
We are not a gambling operator and hold no gambling licence, because we do nothing that requires one: no games, no bets, no player funds, no part in any transaction between you and a casino. We are not a regulator and cannot resolve disputes — the operator's own complaints route and its named ADR provider handle those. We are not owned in whole or in part by any brand we review.
